Unlike some of the other Echoplex models (EP-1, most EP-2s, Sirecho etc) this EP-3 has both 'Echo' and 'Sound on Sound' features. This allows 'looping' so you can build layers of sound in live situations, (just like Les Paul likes to do with his performances, and Jimmy Page did on an Echoplex in the old Zep days). It is also perfect for that 50's rockabilly 'Sun Sessions' sound, giving the authentic warmth of 'slap' tape echo for rockabilly cats. It has continuously adjustable delay time, adjustable number of repeats, echo and main signal level and is adjustable for sensitivity if you want to use it for vocals or other instruments etc. Very rare in Australia, this machine was built in the USA and converted for 240volt operation when new - at significant expense. It is in excellent working and cosmetic condition, having been recently serviced with new capstan bushings, pinch roller bushing, drive belt and tape.
